You can see the changing seasons reflected in September activities. For one thing, TRAILS Wednesday bowling is back, along with more indoor activities and after-school options, like E.C.O. A couple of fun OUTDOOR events are scheduled soon: TRAILS monthly bonfire and potluck at Bishops Beach, noon on Friday, September 22, and the grand opening of the Karen Hornaday Park trail, 2 pm on Sunday, September 24. Also this Thursday, September 21, Homer’s wonderful annual documentary film festival kicks off with a gala presentation of An Inconvenient Sequel. Festival passes are $60 (which equals $6.67 per movie if you see all nine).
