The SILC will be conducting a Focus Group Meeting for the Statewide Plan for Independent Living on October 25th from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. The SILC wants your input, comments and concerns regarding independent living issues and/or needs for people with disabilities.   This will help us determine what our ‘next steps’ should be to improve the lives of Alaskans with disabilities.

 This meeting is open to the public for any persons wishing to participate.

The Homer, Central and Kodiak ILC offices also have survey forms available to anyone who would like to contribute thoughts and ideas and cannot attend a public meeting.
