Just want to let everyone know that the TRAILS bonfire and potluck has been rescheduled to NEXT Friday (October 27) instead of this Friday. If you want to try out your Halloween costume in preparation for Halloween (the following Tuesday), feel free!
Greetings to everyone interested in getting out and enjoying Homer's fall season! Here are some highlights from this week's calendar, October 16 to 21 weekly events October 14-21.pdf:
- Say howdy to friends at TRAILS’ New Moon Bonfire and Potluck at Bishop’s Beach on Friday at noon. FREE!
- Be part of the annual Wearable Arts Runway Show (coming up October 28) by joining fiber artist Sheila Wyne Monday and Tuesday in creating a collaborative entry for the show. What creative, stimulating fun! FREE! (If you want to volunteer to help at Wearable Arts to earn a free pass to the show, call Bunnell at 235-2662.)
- Join in reading, discussing, and enjoying Shakespeare’s Hamlet over the next three Thursday evenings at the lib. FREE!
- Ritz Noir gala dress-up art auction fundraiser at the Pratt Museum on Saturday—yes, compared to most TRAILS highlighted events, it’s pricey, but for an evening of Homer-style glamour and fun, it’s PRICELESS!
